CIRCUIT
Every curve tells a story, every straight evokes a thrill: experiencing the Ricardo Tormo Circuit is to feel speed in its purest form.
GRAND PRIX COMUNITAT VALENCIANA
15 SEPTEMBER 2026
Since its inauguration on September 19, 1999, the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo has become an iconic venue. A commitment to sport that places the Comunitat as a benchmark in the world of motorsport.

#1 Jorge Martínez Aspar
It’s the fastest corner on the Circuit and has been the scene of unforgettable moments such as Fernando Alonso’s overtake on Manuel Giao in 1999 or Marc Márquez’s save in 2017.
#2 Michael Doohan
A clear overtaking spot on both two and four wheels. Michael Doohan was a 5-time 500cc World Champion.
#3 Curve 3
An acceleration point with a gentle left-hand bend where you need to try to hit the apex line.
#4 Nico Terol
In honour of the Valencian rider who won the last 125cc world title in 2011. It’s a tricky spot because it’s the first right-hander after many lefts.
#5 Curve 5
Second consecutive right-hander, after which you take on the climb up to the West Grandstand. Full Gas!!!
#6 Ángel Nieto
In memory of the Spanish rider who was 12+1 times World Champion. The Nieto corner is another overtaking point that leads onto the straight opposite the Cheste layout.
#7 Fans
It’s the point on the track closest to the Circuit’s large grandstands. Circuit Ricardo Tormo is the only one in the world to have given one of its corners the fans’ name.
#8 Bernat Martínez
In memory of Alberic rider Bernat Martínez Mas, who died in an accident at Laguna Seca in 2015. It’s a very technical, off-camber section that leads into the slowest part of the Circuit.
#9 Curve 9
The first left-hand part of a chicane at the most technical point of the Cheste layout.
#10 Curve 10
The second right-hand part of a chicane at the most technical point of the Circuit. Watch out for running wide and crashes.
#11 Jaume Masià
The slowest point on the Circuit and another potential overtaking zone. This corner is named after the Algemesí rider who was crowned Moto3 World Champion in 2023.
#12 Champi Herreros
One of the key points on the layout to take on the long sweeping corner with confidence. This corner is named after the 80cc World Champion in 1989, Manuel Champi Herreros.
#13 Long Sweeper
One of the most spectacular points on the Grand Prix track: a wide left-hand turn that starts with strong acceleration and ends with a blind braking zone to finish the lap.
#14 Adrián Campos
The last corner of the Circuit, a braking zone where races, championships and world titles have been decided. In honour of a legend of Spanish motorsport, the first Valencian driver in the Formula 1 World Championship.
