The Circuit Ricardo Tormo Road Safety School was created with the aim of educating the youngest children in Road Safety, from facilities located in an iconic area such as the Valencia world championship track. The Road Safety School has been training students for years so that, in the future, they become responsible drivers committed to road safety.
At the Road Safety School, the goal is to shape citizens’ behaviour as road users, whether as pedestrians, cyclists, drivers or passengers. It is a process that must be encouraged among the youngest, who will be the ones who form part of society and share the same space.
In addition, the aim is to raise users’ awareness of the importance of prevention and the need for safe mobility, encourage responsible habits, strengthen values such as camaraderie, respect and teamwork, and carry out social, educational and pedagogical action to achieve higher levels of road safety and greater public awareness.

- Prepare future pedestrians, passengers and vehicle drivers.
- Inform and use the appropriate means to improve road safety.
Respect traffic regulations for an orderly and safe use of roads.
- Early childhood education students: up to 6 years old.

The teaching team responsible for sharing knowledge and energising activities, as well as encouraging positive attitudes and motivating students, is made up of road training instructors from AVAE Escuela de Conductores and monitors specialised in Road Safety Education from El Recreo Ocio Educativo as support staff.
The Circuit has spacious, well-laid-out facilities where schoolchildren can learn to get around through intersections controlled by vertical signs and traffic lights, one-way and two-way streets, roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, pavements and other elements and signage. These are, among others, the situations they will encounter in the road-learning process.
The main advantages we offer through the development of this Road Safety Education programme are as follows:
- Road Safety Education programme designed by AVAE Escuela de Conductores.
- The Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo’s own facilities.
- Vehicles adapted to each age group.
- Materials designed by the DGT from its Road Safety Education portal.
- Progressive learning according to age.
The activities we carry out at the Road Safety School have been designed specifically according to the age groups of boys and girls within the education system, recommending progressive access to each stage.
