The Circuit Ricardo Tormo hosts this weekend a new edition of the Valencia NASCAR Fest, the only event in Spain of the European version of NASCAR with the start of the 2026 NASCAR Euro Series season.
The Valencian circuit will be the stage for the annual debut of the NASCAR Euro Series, which arrives in Cheste with a full grid after the last drivers registered in the V8GP, OPEN and Rookie Challenge divisions were confirmed.
The V8GP category, the most powerful in the championship, features a lineup of top-level drivers. Among them stands out the return of former Formula 1 driver Nelson Piquet Jr, who will compete again at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang. Alongside him are names with extensive experience in the NASCAR Euro Series and other motorsport disciplines, as well as champions from lower categories making the step up to the premier division.
The OPEN division maintains its status as one of the most competitive in the championship, with experienced drivers, regular winners and specialists from other disciplines, who will be looking for a good result from the first race of the year. Meanwhile, the Rookie Challenge remains a key part of the NASCAR Euro Series sporting structure, with debutants from different countries facing their first official races in the championship in Valencia.
Truck Races
The Valencia NASCAR Fest is completed with the presence of the Spanish Truck Racing Championship, which will add extra appeal to the weekend. A total of twelve racing trucks will take to the start at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, with current champion Josy Vila as the main contender for victory.
Throughout the weekend, the public will be able to enjoy a very special atmosphere at the Cheste circuit, with parallel activities, paddock access and the usual closeness of the NASCAR Euro Series between drivers, teams and fans.
