The Circuit Ricardo Tormo experienced a historic day this Sunday with the Circuit Ricardo Tormo Duathlon, the first major event on the 2026 calendar. With nearly 1,000 participants and more than 160 teams, the event set a participation record and consolidated the Valencian track as a unique setting for the duathlon.
The Open race, held in a team time trial format, offered excitement until the very last moment. In the women’s category, C.E.A. Bétera B took the victory, followed by C.D.T. Resistentia T3 B and S.D. Correcaminos B. In the men’s category, the win went to C.D.T. Resistentia T3 C, with C.E.A. Bétera B and C.E.A. Bétera C completing the podium. In the mixed category, the best team was Tricanet de Berenguer C, ahead of C.A. Vilamarxant B and C.E. Llebeig Xàbia.
The spotlight remained on the start of the 2026 Caixa Popular Club League, where C.E.A. Bétera shone brightly, winning in the women’s and men’s First Division, confirming their dominance in the regional elite. Close behind, C.D.T. Resistentia T3 established itself as a major rival, securing second place in both categories. In the Second Division, Best of You 3PW Almazora and Carnes Félix Poblats Marítims Triatló stood out, while in the Third Division, S.D. Universitat Politècnica de València and Trisud excelled.
The privileged location of the transition zone and the finish line right in the pit lane allowed the public to enjoy every detail, reinforcing the unique experience that only Circuit Ricardo Tormo can offer. With this opening day, the Valencian track reaffirms its role as a sporting benchmark, starting the season with a massive and spectacular event.
