This weekend, Circuit Ricardo Tormo is hosting the Winter Series, the event that kicks off the sporting season at the Valencian track and brings together teams and drivers from the GT, GT4, Formulas, and Prototypes categories.
The program runs on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15, with over a dozen official sessions and a program of activities for all fans, thanks to the collaboration of ROOW, a festival of motor-related activities where thousands of enthusiasts will come to Circuit Ricardo Tormo to enjoy the entertainment program in the paddock and its surroundings. The performance by artist DJ Nano adds to an offering designed for all audiences, alongside a Demolition Derby inspired by American competitions.
Saturday begins with official practice sessions and continues with qualifying sessions for Prototypes, Formulas, GT, and GT4 until midday. The first Prototypes race takes place at 1:10 PM, and from that moment, five consecutive races are held until 6:00 PM, when artist DJ Nano performs on the main paddock stage.
On Sunday, activity starts at 9:00 AM with Formulas qualifying. The second GT race begins at 9:45 AM, the second GT4 at 10:45 AM, and the second Formulas race at 11:45 AM. At 12:15 PM, the pit walk opens to all attendees. In the afternoon, the third GT race is at 1:35 PM, the third Formulas race at 3:00 PM, and the third GT4 race at 4:00 PM, which concludes the weekend’s sporting program.
Tickets are available HERE and allow access to the paddock throughout the weekend to observe the work of teams and drivers up close. The activity offering is complemented by food trucks, a large commercial area, a custom car exhibition, and a drift gymkhana open to fans.
The Winter Series takes advantage of the climatic conditions of circuits in Spain and Portugal to bring together some of the most prominent teams in European motorsport in an alternative format to the summer calendar. ROOW is organizing its second event at the Circuit after the success achieved in September, when the public enjoyed proposals such as a football match played with cars and an oversized ball.
