In the first heat of Group B, Michael Gulvis was the winner, followed less than a second later by Neyzan Coll and Miguel Ángel Cantero. A few hours later, in the second and final race, the frontrunners were the same, although this time Leonardo Fabio learned his lesson to finish in first place, followed by Shanxu Liu and Aitor González. The winner of Group B was the Qatari Mohammed Adel.
In Moto5, Pablo Arnedo, Witek Kuczynski, and Ethan Botti were the main protagonists in the fight for first place in the first heat, although the Italian crashed out a few laps from the end. Therefore, it all came down to the reigning Moto5 champion and the Polish rider, with the Spaniard eventually taking the win by just 56 thousandths. Alejandro Castilla returned to the podium in third place, while in the first race of Group B, Juan Puertas crossed the finish line in first position. In Race 2, up to six riders formed the lead group, but the winner was the same again, with Pablo Arnedo securing a double victory at the Aspar Circuit, followed by Ethan Botti and Witek Kuczynski. Ángel Pérez ended the weekend on a high note after taking the win in the final Group B race.
In GP12, Marc Ramírez continues to prove himself as the most consistent rider in the category, crossing the finish line in first place in a tight finish, with Argentinian Rocco del Papa second and Ares Aragón third. However, in the second race, Ares was able to beat Marc to take the win by a margin of just 89 thousandths. Hugo Rivas was the rider who completed the top 3.
In GP10, Óscar Mercader achieved his first win in the category in the first race, followed by Daniel Hidalgo and Milas Pauwels, who would go on to take the victory a few hours later, with Aleix Jové stepping onto the podium for the first time in 2026 and Hidalgo, the championship leader, completing the top 3.
Thiago Clua was the star of the Alevín 90 category, leading from the lights to the checkered flag in the first race, with Hugo Urbano and Max Gálvez finishing second and third respectively, with a gap between them. In the final race of the weekend, Thiago Clua repeated his spot at the top of the podium, although Hugo Urbano didn’t make it easy for him. American Marco MacClugage finished in third place.
The young talents of the Minimoto 4.2 category of the MIR Racing Aspar Cup delivered two exciting heats from start to finish, though Julen Hernández was the dominant force, taking the win with a wide margin over Alejandro García and Nico Amat. In the second heat, the exact same podium was repeated.
The next round of the MIR Racing Aspar Cup will take place on the weekend of June 6 and 7 at the Móra d’Ebre track, where the GP12, GP10, Alevín 90, and Minimoto 4.2 categories will be competing. The Promo3 and Moto5 riders will return to action at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo on June 20 and 21.
