The Circuit Ricardo Tormo hosts this weekend the second round of the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour season, which will share the track with the TCR Spain championship at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
The races will be held on the outer track of Circuit Ricardo Tormo with a total of 29 cars on the combined starting grid and drivers from 14 countries. The Valencia event thus becomes one of the highlights of the international touring car calendar, which also holds events in Italy, France, Portugal, South Korea, China, and Macao.
The sporting program includes three races throughout the weekend. The first will be held on Saturday, while the remaining two will take place on Sunday. In addition, Saturday’s race and the first race on Sunday will also count towards the TCR Spain championship.
The competition will take place on a shorter, 3,136-meter variant of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, a more compact layout than the usual Grand Prix track, which favors close battles, overtakes, and on-track intensity.
On the other hand, the Spanish Clio Cup and the Porsche Sprint Challenge Ibérica, which celebrate the third round of their championships at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, will be part of the event program, with two races each.
The on-track activity will be complemented by Volrace activities in the paddock and the impressive Drift Spain, which will transform the inner track into a great motor spectacle.
Drift exhibitions, gymkhanas, displays, food trucks, and live performances for all audiences will make the weekend an experience to enjoy beyond the competition.
Tickets, both for a single day and as a pass for both days, are now on sale on the Circuit Ricardo Tormo website (www.circuitricardotormo.com) and guarantee access to the pit grandstand and the paddock, as well as including Volrace activities in both the paddock and on the track.
