The Cheste track will be the venue on Sunday, January 11 for the Circuit Ricardo Tormo Duathlon, an event that will kick off the Lliga de Clubs Caixa Popular 2026 organized by the Federació de Triatló de la Comunitat Valenciana.

The event will begin with a first running section of 5.4 kilometers starting from the start line and running along the Grand Prix track and service roads. The transition area will be located in the Pit Lane to start the single cycling section of 19.3 km (5 laps of the track). The race concludes with a final running section of 2.7 kilometers.

The Circuit Ricardo Tormo facilities will host a competition that will be held in team time trial format, a format that allows for an orderly development of the event and adapts to the characteristics of the track, guaranteeing the necessary safety and organizational conditions. The event will feature the participation of nearly one thousand athletes, integrated into 169 teams made up of between four and six competitors.

The event will bring together clubs from across the Valencian Community in a day that reinforces the role of Circuit Ricardo Tormo as a multipurpose space for hosting sporting competitions beyond the motor racing field.
