The Circuit Móra d’Ebre hosted the third round of the MIR Racing Aspar Cup 2026, in a weekend of great parity in which nearly 100 young talents gave their best to fight for victory on the Catalan track, delivering highly contested races with a high competitive level.

In GP12, Ares Aragón won with firm authority in the first race after securing pole on Saturday, beating Marc Ramírez, GP12 leader, and Hugo Rivas, who achieved his second podium of the season, by nearly 5 seconds. In the second race, Ares Aragón was hampered by a problem from the start, which prevented him from being in the fight for victory. Rocco del Papa, Marc Ramírez and Hugo Rivas were in that battle, with victory for the Argentine by less than 1 second over his other 2 rivals.

Óscar Mercader was the main protagonist of the first race on Sunday in GP10, in a thrilling finish in which he beat Daniel Hidalgo by small margins. We also witnessed a great duel for the final podium spot, with a favorable outcome for Australian Luca Frankenburg over Belgian Milas Pauwels. A few hours later, Daniel Hidalgo made a statement and, this time, beat Mercader by 282 thousandths. Once again, Frankenburg and Pauwels battled for third place, with the same outcome as in the previous race.

Thiago Clua was the rider who made the difference in Alevín 90, with a sensational pole in qualifying and a remarkable double victory in the 2 races on Sunday. In both races, the podium was exactly the same, with Hugo Urbano second and Max Gálvez third, which confirms their respective positions in the overall standings. With 2 rounds remaining until the end of the season, Clua is the clear favorite to win the championship, although his rivals will try to make it harder for him in less than 1 month in Villena.

True to their commitment to spectacle, the Minimoto 4.2 riders shone again in Móra d’Ebre, with the usual protagonists at the front. Julen Hernández, who had just secured his second pole of the season, was able to stay at the front to take victory in the first race, with Alejandro García and Thiago Clua less than half a second behind the provisional standings leader. Just outside the podium this time was Leandro Poggi, who in the second race did manage to finish in the top 3, just behind García, who won for the first time in 2026, and Clua.

The next round of the MIR Racing Aspar Cup will take place on the weekend of June 20-21 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, where riders from Promo3 and Moto5 will be called up. As for the other categories, the last round before the well-deserved summer break will take place at the MIR Racing Villena Circuit (July 4-5).
