The Zuera International Circuit raises the curtain on the 2026 MIR Racing Aspar Cup season, with nearly 130 riders registered across the 5 categories (Moto5, GP12, GP10, Alevín 90, and Minimoto 4.2). The youth talent development championship enters a new era alongside the Aspar Team, which will be full of new developments and real opportunities, creating a unique ladder to the world championship in grassroots motorcycling.

Moto5

The Moto5 category will have a strong turnout at the start of the 2026 season, with 34 riders ready to shine in the first battles for victory in Aragon. Pablo Arnedo will try to defend his title after a 2025 season in which he broke almost every record with 12 wins and 17 podiums in 20 races, although the high level of the registered riders, from up to 15 different nationalities, promises a great year of competition.

Cesare Golfetto and Alejandro Castilla, last season’s GP10 champion and runner-up, are moving up to Moto5 aiming to cause an upset in their debut, as are Gael García, 2024 Minimoto 4.2 champion, and Ricardo García, winner of the last 2 races of last season in GP10. Alongside Pablo Arnedo, other riders to watch include Ethan Botti, 2025 Moto5 runner-up, Witek Kupczynski, 2024 GP10 champion, and Phil Köster, one of the big revelations of 2025.

GP12

A total of 19 young talents have confirmed their participation for this first meeting of the season, with figures to watch such as Argentinians Gonzalo Apkarian and Rocco del Papa, and others looking to grow in their second GP12 season like Asier Villalba or Pedro Tortosa. A combination of experienced riders and newcomers eager to surprise will surely put on a great show on the track.

GP10

Riders coming from Minimoto 4.2 and Alevín 90, along with some returning to the category, make up one of the largest GP10 grids in memory, with up to 32 bikes on the grid. Among other riders to watch, Daniel Hidalgo enters his second GP10 season after finishing fifth in 2025, securing 2 podiums in the final round of the season. It is also worth noting that Argentinian Rocco del Papa will compete in both GP10 and GP12 this season, along with the debut of the reigning Minimoto 4.2 and Alevín 90 champions, Denis Daniel Cimpean and David Delgado.
