The Circuit Ricardo Tormo has officially presented the Valencia NASCAR Fest, an event that will combine NASCAR Euro Series competition and the Spanish Truck Racing Championship, along with an extensive program of parallel activities designed for families.
The event’s presentation took place in the pit lane of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, attended by NASCAR Euro Series CEO, Jérôme Galpin, and the General Director of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Nicolás Collado.
Collado highlighted the importance of hosting an event of this nature. “Thousands of fans will participate this weekend in a unique event, featuring the spectacular American NASCAR as the main attraction, intense activity with the Racing Trucks, and a paddock full of activities for all ages,” said Collado, who emphasized that the only NASCAR Euro Series event in Spain is “one of the Circuit’s favorite annual calendar events.”
Parallel Activities
In addition to the sporting action, the Valencia NASCAR Fest will offer a comprehensive program of parallel activities aimed not only at motor enthusiasts but also at families and the general public. “We want the Circuit to be an open space where everyone finds reasons to enjoy themselves, even if they are not regular Motorsport followers,” explained Nicolás Collado during the presentation.
Among the highlights is the musical performance by the group A Quemarropa, who will offer concerts on both Saturday and Sunday on a stage set up for the occasion. The paddock will also host the Mad Max space, a themed tent that will set the mood for both days of the event with a very recognizable aesthetic designed for all audiences.
The Valencia NASCAR Fest will feature a large exhibition of American cars and motorcycles, including iconic models from brands like Mustang, Camaro, and Dodge, as well as Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles. In total, more than 200 vehicles will be part of this display, which will include a dynamometer for owners to measure their machines’ power. This will be complemented by an exhibition of decorated trucks, in line with the Spanish Truck Racing Championship races.
The program will be completed with exhibitions and workshops on American sports, featuring practical activities and open trials for the public, both children and adults, in a free-access sliding zone. The little ones will have a large area of children’s activities including workshops, face painting, a mascot, an inflatable fair, a graffiti workshop, inflatables, and a mechanical bull designed for all ages.
Additionally, the public can enjoy arcade machines and a Harley stunt show, which will add an extra visual and entertainment component to the weekend. “The goal is for the Valencia NASCAR Fest to be a true celebration, where sport and leisure go hand in hand and turn the Circuit Ricardo Tormo into a meeting point for everyone,” concluded Nicolás Collado
