Australian rider Troy Bayliss will be the star guest at Racing Legends 2026, the largest gathering of classic cars and motorcycles, taking place at Circuit Ricardo Tormo on March 7 and 8.

The next edition of the event will focus on the 2006 Valencian Community Grand Prix, marking its twentieth anniversary and its special place in motorcycling history. It was then that Bayliss, after being crowned Superbike World Champion with Ducati, competed in the final race of the MotoGP season as a guest rider… and won. That victory, the only one of his career in the premier class, became an iconic moment that stunned the paddock and marked an unexpected turn in the championship, snatching the glory from Valentino Rossi and leaving the world title in the hands of Nicky Hayden.

Bayliss will be the main star of the weekend, during which the Circuit will feature special content, themed exhibitions, and historical materials to set the scene for that unforgettable 2006. Additionally, other milestones from that weekend will be remembered, such as Jorge Lorenzo securing his first 250cc world title, as well as Ducati’s role and the final battle between Hayden and Rossi.

As it does every year, Racing Legends will bring together clubs, owners, and dozens of classic vehicles that will parade around the track. Attendees will have access to the paddock, the grandstands, and specially designated areas to see motorcycles and cars up close, in a family-friendly atmosphere that pays tribute to motorsport history.
